The Gym to Crag course is for climbers who have a basic foundation of skills and are looking to transition from the gym into the exciting world of outdoor climbing. In this course, you will learn all the skills needed to be able to climb outside for the first time! The purpose of this course is to give you the skills and confidence to venture outside of the gym and climb outside. We focus on more advanced skills than those covered in our First Ascent course, while giving you the practice and repetition to really solidify the skills you already have. Been a while since you last roped up? This course is a perfect reintroduction to safely climbing outside. It’s a great way to refresh your skills and stay up on the latest technical practices.

The Gym to Crag can be booked in either a 2 or 3 day course format, for 1-6 people(maximum 3 climbers for multi-pitch). Due to the amount of information covered in the course, a 3-day format is recommended to solidify skills and give you as much experience and mileage on the rock as possible.

As with all of our courses, the curriculum can be tailored to fit your needs. We strive to allow ample time for practice and repetition of the skills you will learn on any of our courses.
