Forbidden Peak, WA - Climbing Forbidden Peak offers a challenging and rewarding alpine experience, showcasing the rugged beauty of the North Cascades. There are several routes to the summit, each offering a unique climbing experience. The West Ridge is the most popular route, known for its high quality exposed ridge. The East Ridge is similar to the West but generally less traveled. The North Ridge is more involved and requires an on route bivy.

The West Ridge is a an absolute classic, and one of the 50 classic alpine climbs of North America! The East Ridge is a complex ridge climb with up to 5.8 rock.
