Chris Peltzer

Guide

Chris loves empowering newer climbers, providing the technical knowledge and movement skills they need to achieve their own goals on the rock. He discovered climbing in 2016 while hiking in Joshua Tree National Park; captivated by the climbers he watched, he dove into the sport headfirst along with his partner Emily. Today, his focus is helping others experience that same sense of discovery.

Since that first trip, Chris has climbed extensively across the globe. His domestic tick list includes major trad and multi-pitch destinations like Red Rocks, Eldorado Canyon, the Gunks, and the Cascades. Internationally, his climbing ranges from the Dolomites, Greece, and Croatia to the alpine environments of Nepal.

Chris holds a BS in Physics and an MS in Applied Mathematics, bringing a highly analytical, systems-oriented mindset to his guiding.
