Grant Price

Guide
Grant serves as the head guide for Blue Ridge Mountain Guides. He is from Wintergreen, VA where he grew up climbing and searching for unclimbed rock, ice and adventure. He has been climbing for 18 years and teaching in the outdoor industry for 12 years.
Grant enjoys all types of climbing but favors ice and trad. He is as dedicated to teaching as he is to climbing. He has a strong passion for sharing his love for climbing and the mountains with others. Most find that Grant has a laid back, patient and adaptive teaching style. He strives to convey information and skills in a manner that is easy to understand and to retain.
During the winter months, Grant spends his time ice climbing and skiing in Utah, New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
Grant graduated from Radford University with a B.S. in Geospatial Science. He is an American Mountain Guides Association Rock Instructor, Apprentice Ski Alpine and Rock Guide, Single Pitch Instructor, Climbing Wall Instructor and holds a Wilderness First Responder Certification. He has also completed AIARE level I, II, and III avalanche courses, and is a course instructor. Grant is a AMGA SPI Provider and a Leave No Trace Trainer.
