Joe Dorn

Joe was raised in Washington, D.C., but did not find climbing until living in California in his early 20s.  A lover of all things outdoors, Joe found climbing through the outdoor education world. 

Joe loves to teachf and has worked with students in a variety of ways.  He has worked as a school teacher, tennis coach and outdoor educator.  Joe has worked at climbing gyms, teaching after-school classes and belay classes.  He loves to share his knowledge and passion for climbing with students of all abilities. 

In his own climbing, Joe loves to be in the mountains, and also enjoys a day of sport climbing with friends.  He likes to see new climbing areas and uses climbing as a way to travel and see the world
